Travel to India and be inspired at the acclaimed Riverside School started by world-renowned education innovator Kiran Bir Sethi, founder of the multi-awarded Design For Change movement.

Where can you go and what will you get?

You get to go to Riverside School where Design For Change (DFC) began! DFC has won the 1st place at the Commonwealth Education Good Practice Awards and the INDEX: Design to Improve Life Award among others, and has been recognized as one of the top 100 education programs in the world. It was founded in 2001 with a practical, commonsense and child-centred approach because  children’s innate creativity and talents need to be nurtured for them to do well at school and to be active citizens. Thanks to Riverside, 2.2 million children and 65,000 teachers across 60 countries have unleashed their I CAN Superpowers!

What will you do on the Edutour?

You will go on a week-long immersive program in India. Apart from the hands-on, immersive program at The Riverside School, the Edutour also includes an opportunity for participants to explore India’s rich cultural heritage at Ahmedabad, Jaipur & Agra. Over the course of three days, participants will have the opportunity to understand the Riverside School’s ecosystem - its philosophy, culture and pedagogy of HumanE Curriculum.Since 2001, Riverside has designed, implemented and shared a unique user centred curriculum that is providing schools with an alternative model which focuses on quality of learning and student well being.
