A group of school-going children wanted to find a way to make the refugees feel more welcome and a part of the community. Given the prevailing food condition in North Carolina and unsuitable diet, the children harvested fresh fruits and vegetables to distribute to over 40 refugee families. Their heartwarming gesture was appreciated by the whole community.
