Throughout their lives, children keep hearing about great issues of the modern world – be it global warming, pollution or deforestation. Somehow, all of these statements we hear seem to have a rather blaming tone to them. As if the damage wasn't made gradually many years before. Nevertheless, the question should not be “Whose fault, is it?” but “What can we do about it?” While these issues should impact everyone equally, young people are especially affected as it concerns their future the most.
Therefore, Design for Change gave young leaders of this year's Student Council an opportunity to speak up on what they feel strongly about.
It was decided that the first project is going to work on the problem of deforestation. From there, the PlantOx Project was created. Everyone worked hard for plantations, sharing the ideas and collaborating with like-minded organizations to plant more oxygen for a better future. Join and support our young leaders as they restlessly work on making a change for a better world!!
