In 2013, students at Sunbeam School, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, recognised a dire need to encourage reading habits in Surya English School. They organised puppet shows and pair reading. They made picture books, and donated a cupboard and a book shelf to create a functional library. To top it all, they even installed a newspaper stand for the general public passing by.
