In 2015, children in Alunos da Escola Menezes Pimentel, Brazil, felt that their history lessons were distant from reality. The students proposed to the teacher to use the computer game Minecraft to learn history. They structured the class so that half the time is spent in theory and half the time in playing the game and creating ancient scenarios. The subject that had the second largest failing rate reduced this number to nearly zero!
